If youโ€™re looking for a cozy, comforting dinner that feels a little nostalgic but still packed with flavor, Hamburger Steaks with Onion and Mushroom Gravy are always a great choice.

I recently came across this recipe on the Food Network website, and it immediately caught my attention.

The description called it an updated version of the classic Salisbury steak, and that sounded like exactly the kind of hearty dinner I love to make at home.

According to Food Network, this recipe takes the traditional comfort food and gives it a flavorful upgrade.

The seasoned beef patties include smoked paprika in the mixture, which adds a subtle smoky depth that makes the steaks taste a little more special than your standard hamburger patty.

Itโ€™s a simple addition, but it really enhances the overall flavor of the dish.

What are Hamburger Steaks with Onion and Mushroom Gravy?

Hamburger Steaks with Onion and Mushroom Gravy are seasoned ground beef patties that are pan-seared and served with a rich, savory gravy made from sautรฉed onions and mushrooms.

Instead of being served on a bun like a hamburger, the patties are plated as a main dish and topped with the flavorful gravy.

This comforting dish is similar to Salisbury steak and is often served with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles to soak up the delicious onion and mushroom gravy.

Itโ€™s a hearty, classic meal thatโ€™s simple to make and full of homestyle flavor.
