What is Grandma’s Goulash?
Goulash is a recipe that originally came from Hungary and it was more of a stew that consisted of meat and flavored with onions, garlic, peppers, and plenty of paprika.
In America, Goulash is usually made with ground beef, elbow macaroni, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
Ingredients
- Ground Beef
- Onion
- Olive Oil
- Seasoning Salt
- Tomato Sauce
- Diced Tomatoes
- Beef Broth
- Elbow Macaroni
How to make Grandma’s Goulash
Brown ground beef along with olive oil and onion in a large Dutch oven. Drain excess grease.
Add the beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and the seasoning salt to the hamburger and simmer.
Add the elbow macaroni and cook until tender.
Serve and enjoy!

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 can beef broth 15.5 oz
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 can diced tomatoes 15 oz
- 1 cup elbow macaroni uncooked
Instructions
- Brown ground beef along with olive oil and onion in a large Dutch oven. Drain excess grease.
