When I was a kid my grandma always had a cookie jar full of the best homemade cookies, and I loved all of them! I remember helping her make classic Oatmeal Raisin Cookies all the time but my husband really loves to have the same cookie but with butterscotch chips added. My first thought was, why would I want ruin a perfectly good cookie with butterscotch chips, but I was so wrong! These cookies are literally one of the best cookies I’ve ever had!

I still love regular Oatmeal Raisin cookies but these Oatmeal Raisin Butterscotch Cookies have such great flavor and texture and they’re just so delicious and soft and chewy, you just have to try them once and you’ll be hooked.

How to make Oatmeal Raisin Butterscotch Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine butter and sugars until smooth and creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the flour mixture to the creamed ingredients, mix until blended.

Drop by round tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
