Instructions
Preheat your oven according to the chocolate cake mix instructions.
Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package directions (usually combining the mix with eggs, oil, and water).
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake the cake as directed on the box, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the cake is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
Pour caramel sauce evenly over the top.
Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible, so it’s thoroughly chilled and the flavors meld.
Spread thawed whipped topping or freshly made whipped cream evenly over the cooled cake.
Sprinkle crushed Heath Toffee Bits generously over the top.
Drizzle caramel sauce over the cake.
Slice, serve, and enjoy every rich, gooey bite!
