Instructions
Heat oil, salt and pepper in a deep skillet or wok.
Add cabbage, celery, bean sprouts, water chestnuts and sugar.
Stir in chicken broth and cook for about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce together.
Add to vegetable mixture and stir until mixture thickens.
Add chicken and heat thoroughly.
Serve over white rice and crunchy chow mein noodles. Chopsticks are optional.
