Instructions
Grease an 8×8-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
Stir constantly until completely melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Let the mixture cool for a couple of minutes, then gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until smooth and creamy.
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Add toppings if you want to make it festive or add a little crunch.
Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours or until firm.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
