Instructions
Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom of muffin cups or use paper baking cups.
Mix shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg thoroughly.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Stir in alternately with milk.
Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake 20 to 25 min., or until golden brown.
Immediately roll in the melted butter, then in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Serve hot.
