Instructions
Add beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
Whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
Pour over the ingredients.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours, until beef is tender.
Whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in a cornstarch slurry.
Ladle the stew into bowls and serve with crusty bread, biscuits, or even over mashed potatoes for the ultimate comfort meal.
