Cocoa Krispie Bars

Cocoa Krispie Bars

I’ve been making Rice Krispie Bars since I was a little girl, but I’ve never made Cocoa Krispie Bars before. Last week I decided it was time to try it, I’m not a huge chocolate fan but it turns out they’re just the right amount of chocolate, so yummy! Not only are they easy to make, but they also offer a tasty blend of flavors and textures that make them irresistible.

Need something to fuel your day? One bite can give you the energy boost you crave. Looking for a snack that pairs perfectly with your morning coffee or afternoon tea? Cocoa Krispie Bars are the perfect fit.

Rice Krispie Bars are usually my go to treat to make for get togethers or cookouts but now I might be a lot more open to other possibilities. Just think of all the different cereals that are out there, they might not all mix well with marshmallows but I’m willing to try out a few and see what I can make. I might end up being the only person in my family eating them but it’ll be fun to see what I can come up with.

But for now I think you should try making your own pan of Cocoa Krispie Bars and let me know what you think!

What are Cocoa Krispie Bars?

Cocoa Krispie Bars are a delicious treat made from KELLOGG’S® COCOA KRISPIES® cereal. They provide a unique chocolatey experience that indulges the senses with every bite. These bars are perfect for those who enjoy a sweet snack full of rich flavor. Blended with crisp rice texture, these bars deliver a satisfying crunch in every mouthful. Whether you need a quick snack on the go or are looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, Cocoa Krispie Bars offer that perfect balance of texture, flavor and indulgence.

Ingredients

How to make Cocoa Krispie Bars

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.

Add Jet Puffed Marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add KELLOGG’S® COCOA KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. I like to use butter instead of spray, because butter makes everything better!

Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.

I’ve also included the microwave directions below, I’m not a fan of using the microwave because I tend to be a little more old school and I really love cooking and baking the way my grandma did back in the days before microwaves.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.
