Salisbury Steak Meatballs and Gravy
Growing up in the 70โs there were few things more exciting than getting eat supper in front of the TV, my mom would set up the TV trays and we would all watch Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries and eat our Swanson TV Dinners.
The inspiration for Salisbury Steak Meatballs and Gravy came from my favorite TV Dinner, Meatballs and Mashed Potatoes, the perfectly seasoned meatballs in a rich, brown gravy and served over mashed potatoes, Yum!
I’m not an expert but I like to think being homemade this recipe is little healthier than the frozen dinners we ate as kids but I definitely know this meal tastes even better. This recipe makes 12 meatballs, we sometimes freeze half to use another time.
