What is homemade whipped cream?
Whipped cream is heavy cream that’s been beaten until it’s light and fluffy, you can achieve this by using a whisk and beating by hand or the easiest way is to use your KitchenAid stand mixer.
Ingredients
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Powdered Sugar
- Vanilla Extract
How to make Homemade Whipped Cream
Put the metal or glass bowl of a stand mixer into the refrigerator to chill for an hour.
Add the whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the chilled bowl.
Use the wire whisk attachment, beat the ingredients together, beginning on low speed and increasing to high speed slowly as it starts to firm up.
Beat until stiff peaks form, pausing to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
