Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted and roasted macadamia nuts roughly chopped
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set it aside.
  • Mix the butter and sugars together in a bowl with a stand mixer. Turn the mixer to medium speed until the mixture is light in color and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and the vanilla extract, mix until everything is blended together.
  • Combine the dry ingredients. Stir the dough until everything is blended together.
  • Stir in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  • Shape the dough into 1-2 tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet, making sure to space them 1-2 inches apart for even baking.
  • Bake your cookies for 10-12 minutes, and let them cool for just 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack for maximum crispness.
