Instructions
In a Dutch oven, heat canola oil over medium-high heat.
Add in the onion and sauté for 8-10 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Add V-8 juice, diced tomatoes with green chilies.
Stir in the beans, chili powder and green pepper and bring to a boil.
Then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 40 minutes.
Ladle the chili into bowls, serve with a side of Homemade Cornbread!
