Instructions
In a large soup pot, heat butter over medium heat. Add diced onions, garlic, celery, and carrots and sauté until they become tender.
Add diced potatoes and cooked ham to the pot. Stir well to combine the ingredients.
Add in the flour, stirring until mixed thoroughly.
Pour in the chicken broth and chicken bouillon. Bring the soup to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Add in the milk. Stir well and let it simmer for an additional 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
