What is Apple Crisp?

Apple Crisp is a classic dessert dish made primarily from baked apples. It is distinguished by a crisp, crumbly topping usually composed of sugar, butter, flour, and often oats or nuts. This topping creates a delicious contrast to the soft, sweet-tart filling made from fresh apples. A perfect balance of textures and flavors, Apple Crisp is often served warm, usually with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. It’s a favorite during fall and winter months, especially around holidays and family gatherings.
