Fall Snack Mix is a tasty snack typically made during the autumn season. It usually consists of a combination of sweet and savory ingredients, often reflecting the flavors and colors of fall. Common ingredients include pretzels, popcorn, nuts (like peanuts or almonds), candy corn, dried fruits (such as cranberries or raisins), and sometimes seasonal spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.   • Mixed nuts
  • Craisins

  • Dried apple chips

  • Brown sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Ground nutmeg

How to make Fall Snack Mix

Preheat your oven or smoker to 250°F (120°C). In a large bowl, mix together the pretzels, mixed nuts, Craisins,  raisins, Cheerios, Bugles,  and dried apple chips.

In a separate small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well to make a sweet and spicy mixture.

Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and toss everything together until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven or smoker for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even coating and prevent sticking.

Add in the candy for the last five minutes just to soften them. Once the snack mix is golden and crispy, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, you can break up any clumps and transfer the snack mix to an airtight container for storage. Enjoy your homemade Fall Snack Mix!
