I discovered Beer Bread in the early 2000’s at a Tastefully Simple home party, all I had to do was mix a can of beer with the beer bread mix and voila I had this great little loaf of bread. It was so simple to make but then I found out how to make Homemade Beer Bread without needing to buy the mix.
If you’ve never made bread before it can be a little intimidating but Homemade Beer Bread is the perfect bread to try for the first timer, it’s quick, easy and tastes amazing! There’s so many flavor and serving options but we tend to serve it with Easy Knorr Spinach Dip.
What is Homemade Beer Bread?
Homemade Beer Bread is a quick bread that is flavored with beer, the type of beer you use will change the flavor, for this recipe I used Toppling Goliath Camp Shandyshore Lemon beer and that gave the bread a slight lemon flavor. The beer take the place of yeast as the leavening agent which causes the bread to rise.
